Overcoming the transportation and supply obstacles caused by the pandemic, Marcella De Martin and the Billy4Kids foundation successfully visited Belize, Honduras, and Jamaica across 2021 and 2022, ensuring the delivery of essential resources to children in these regions. Through strategic partnerships forged with local organizations in each country, the Billy4kids foundation was able to surmount the strict Covid-19 parameters and facilitate the transportation of goods.
Partnering with the Liberty Children's Home in Belize, Billy4Kids supplied over 200 pairs of shoes to combat the rising numbers of parasitic infections caused from prolonged foot exposure to dirt and soil in this region. With parasitic diseases affecting more than 3 billion people globally (Elsheikha, 2014) supplying basic shoes to the children of Liberty provides them with vital preventative measures against these infections. By addressing the root cause of the issue and equipping the children with shoes, Billy4Kids aims to make a lasting impact on their well-being.

In Jamaica, Billy4kids worked with Delta and United Airlines to supply 200-300 pairs of shoes to the children of the St. Elizabeth Parish and Brighton District. Visiting several schools, hospitals, and churches in this region, Marcella De Martin and Billy Lerner distributed shoes of all sizes to children in primary and infant schools, assisting them in avoiding foot infections and other related diseases. The joint efforts of Marcella De Martin, Delta and United Airlines, and the Billy4Kids Foundation made a significant impact on the lives of underprivileged children in Jamaica.

In partnership with the Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries in Honduras, Marcella De Martin supplied 140 pairs of shoes to underprivileged children at the Greenfield Children's Home. Additionally, the foundation extended support by providing essential medical supplies including bacterial cream, face masks, and sanitation materials. By safeguarding the health and well-being of these children, the foundation demonstrated its commitment to improving their living conditions and promoting a safe environment for the children.
As the newly appointed ambassador of Billy4Kids, Marcella De Martin has been instrumental in making a lasting difference in the lives of underprivileged children. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Marcella De Martin, with the support of her husband Billy Lerner and the Billy4Kids foundation, has supplied over 600 pairs of shoes to impoverished children worldwide, making a significant impact on their lives.
